Cri Du Chat Syndrome is an abnormality resulting in the deletion of part of the short arm of chromosome 5. Sometimes this syndrome is called "Cat Cry Syndrome" or "5p-"

This site is for families, carers, health professional and students wanting to know more about the syndrome.  We hope that the information here will help you to understand a little more about this condition.

Good news we can claim back gift aid on subscriptions so you need to fill in a new gift aid form so that we can claim back 28p for every £1 subscribed since 2002.  For one membership that is over £22 including this years so please if you pay tax and are elegible to gift aid click here to download a form, print it and sign then send it back to us.
